There may be a second member of the supergroup Aventura looking to make headlines in 2013. Along with his fellow alumnus Romeo, who was recently named MTV’s “Best Latino Artist of 2012” as well as earning the title of Billboard’s “Top Latin Album of the Year”, Henry Santos announced he is preparing to release what will be his second solo album.
Santos stated that he will be returning to his roots when asked about the sound of the new project. What could this mean for fans? More of the bachata sound that made him famous? Collaborations with other Adventura members? According to Santos, a little bit of both!
The new single “My Way”, written by fellow bandmate Lenny Santos, is to be released in January. Santos has already produced six songs for the new album, with sounds that range from bachata, electronic-merengue, dance, and others. We can’t wait to hear what he has in store! (Do we feel a possible tour coming on? hmm...)
