U2 Concert at FedEX FedEx was the most crowded I have ever seen it at the U2 concert last week! Not only were the stands at every level full but the entire field was covered in U2 fans swarming around the 360 degree stage. This venue was perfect for an international phenomenon such as U2! The only problem was the transportation, I live in northern Virginia right outside of Tysons which took 3 hours to get there! Save the headaches and pain of sitting in traffic--- take the metro!! Although there will for sure be huge lines, you will not have to sit in traffic for hours and it will not be as stressful! FedEx field was one of the best venues I have ever been to for a concert especially right before it gets too cold out!

If you LOVE music like I do... I have always had a BLAST at the 9:30 Club, there are many different places you can watch the feature band play! This venue always gets sold out for any big name bands so waiting last minute is not recommended. As random as this may sound, I really thought that the staff were really great especially helping crowd surfers down and making sure people were safe. The fact that you can watch the feature band from many different angles makes the 930 Club a place I'll definately return to!

Two Worlds. When I went to Josephine's in DC, I only knew about the first room you walk into when you get there. There is extremely loud techno playing and tables surrounding the dance floor. There was a dancer in the VIP section which was fun, but the drinks will definately cost you. The next time I went to Josephine's I found out there was a back part of the club which was just Hip Hop all night. Two different vibes but a cool place if you want a taste of both.

Good Dancing... I have a great time dancing at Stir in DC, but unfortunately the crowd there isn't always as fun to be around for me personally. Stir usually brings in an older crowd but they do try to have as many specials (especially for groups of ladies obviously..). I have enjoyed the music... lots of techno/dance, which is always fun. Bartenders are pretty much all girls... who don't really wanna pay attention to you if your girl.. but guys-- you'll enjoy it!

Low Key, Relaxed Atmosphere Brass Monkey in Adams Morgan is my favorite place to grab a drink and be able to have a conversation with someone. It is connected to 3 other bars where the atmosphere gets a little more intense and crowded. There are plenty of couches and definately room to dance around the back part of the bar! I would definately recommend giving Brass Monkey a shot if you are in Adam's Morgan!

Garretts on a Sat. Night Garretts in Georgetown is really fun place to go with a big group of friends, the bar doesnt get too crowded which can be the problem with Georgetown bars. There is NO cover which is awesome and there is a drink special Saturday nights- $3 vodka drinks before midnight. I recommend Garrets in Georgetown as a great place to start out the night if you don't want problems getting a drink!!

Current - Friday Nights! I had a pretty good time when I went to Current- Usually clubs require that you know someone if you dont want to wait at the door FOREVER and pay a COVER. They of course were strict with the guys on shoes/clothing- and charged my guy friend 40 bucks to get in with us . The music was great- but there is no real space to dance since it gets so crowded-- the downstairs is always pretty boring... so try to go upstairs if you go to Current! Upstairs there is another bar and out back they just opened a deck with DJ, dancers (which i love!) and table service. Thursday nights its Techno on the deck... then rap/raggaeton music upstairs.

Fun experience- but Current is a better place to eat versus party.

Great Place for Birthday or Private Parties! I would absolutely go back to Rhino, this is one of my favorite bars in the Georgetown area. Rhino allowed me to rent the top floor out for my 23rd birthday party if I could guarantee that 100 people would show up. The cover was $20 and included a TOP SHELF open bar (this DID include red bull vodkas)! The bartenders were extremely nice and very quick with making drinks for all my guests. Another BONUS was that I could bring in my own IPOD and play whatever music I wanted to during the open bar (9pm - Midnight). The bouncer did a great job only allowing my friends to come into the party (many outsiders will try to pretend like they know you to get the open bar).

An overall great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking or a place to rent out for a party!
